越來越多消費者選擇電動機車作為代步工具，可是卻常常發生許多問題，包括電池續航力不足，馬達失靈及無法啟動等問題。
11月28日電動機車標章TES 引爆南台灣節能新風潮
為了改善上述問題，經濟部工業局特別訂定補助標準，推廣通過檢測的TES電動機車合格產品，並於11月28日在台南大遠百廣場舉辦電動機車試乘推廣活動，讓民眾能親身體驗電動機車的輕巧魅力與優良品質。現場有台南市政府代表蒞臨致詞，更承諾加碼對TES標章認可的電動機車的補助，與民眾心理需求相呼應。
訴求電動機車標章合格產品（TES）的品質及安全保證
本次活動也同時呼籲大家，不要購買來路不明的組裝電動機車產品，以免要常常更換電池或馬達，花了許多冤枉錢，對於騎乘者的安全更是沒有保障，因此經濟部工業局積極推廣擁有TES標章的電動機車合格產品，除了希望政府的加持能讓消費者安心選購，也希望民眾能更瞭解電動機車節能、省電、輕巧的優良品質。舉例來說，50cc的燃油機車每次加滿油要近百元，相當於每公里0.5元的行駛成本；而電動機車每次充飽電可行駛40公里，卻只需要不到3元的電費，平均行駛每公里只要0.09元，因此相較於燃油機車更省錢。
此外，就環保效益而言，一台50cc的燃油機車平均每年的碳排放量為172.4公斤，電動機車則為93.8公斤。若能有更多人選擇合格的電動機車合格產品，不僅可以省荷包、降低環境的負擔、減少地球化石能源的耗損，還可以得到政府補助，現在就讓我們一起認明TES標章，支持電動機車合格產品吧。
